Angelina Love, who is the proud holder of 5 TNA Women’s knockout championships, is hoping to add another one to her tally this year. She was asked on her Twitter page about when she would win the next championship, to which she replied “Deff hoping soon”.

She was once the star female performer for the company, but has had a slouch in form in recent times. She dropped her claim to the title in 2010, when Tara captured the title from her. The following year showed a slump in performance for the company’s star female performer. Angelina hasn’t won any of the televised matches for 6 months, with her last victory coming in May, 2011. That victory was at the Impact Wrestling event. However, it is quite probable that the once-star performer of TNA will come back into prominence as she competed in three tapings in the second week of January, one of which against her previous partner in “Beautiful People”, Velvet Sky.

Velvet Sky has hinted that she wants a reunion of the Beautiful People TNA team. While she is quite satisfied with the way her singles career has progressed, she just wants to bring back the magic of tag-team wrestling that she once shared with Love. In a recent interview, she said that there’s never a time in TNA when you can totally get rid of an idea saying it will never happen. She stressed that she had a great time in her singles career, but her times with Angelina were some of the best she ever had on TNA. She also said that the two of them shared an incredible rapport which was apparent, not only during their fights, but also during promotional events and interviews. All fans of women’s wrestling are looking forward to this comeback.

Its the news that all Angelina Love fans have been waiting for (well, the men anyway!)
